U.S. Navy Chaplin, what do they do?
I'm really about 16 to 17 who wish to enter the field of Chaplin in the Navy. I know I have go to college and am looking at colleges and I know I need my master's degree in theology and religious church one of the sponsors. I just want to know what Chaplin is done and how. may be deployed on ships of all types of vessels, or may want to do other work on the ship that is serving in the navel. (I would not mind that) I'd like, please be as discriptive as possible, the longer is better not to, but I would like to know the answers to these points in detail Alwayse. I a person that people can say and I've seen a few places and some people (say some) and I found this kind of people who drive me crazy, but hey if that's what I want, better be prepared for this kind of people huh?
Arn't these guys always give me cookies and juice? I really like to talk. Are confidential point of contact for personal issues that service members would not feel comfortable increase the chain. They are like counselors. Them anywhere and everywhere, even in combat zones. A chaplain is a chaplain service independently. You're dealing with the soldiers, airmen, sailors and Marines as chaplain Navy. If you've never seen MASH, see what the chaplain does not. They also deal with all religions and provide documentation of the great religions. The chaplain is the only person to visit, talk and make hot chocolate on a cold Christmas Eve in some watchtower in a dark corner of the base. Also religion does not open unless you ask. I'm agnostic, but I still like.
