I heard some commentators argue there are some hundreds of climate scientists in the world. This statement suits both parties that the promoters can not claim that all the thousands of skeptical meteorologists and geologists in the world are not qualified comment on the weather and the skeptics may argue that pessimism is really only a handful of people. The world can support tens of thousands of researchers AGW. Research is expensive and not many opportunities to provide ever more apocalyptic predictions and trying to explain why the weather refuses to cooperate with their predictions.
