Hall of Fame
The Hall of Fame began in 1963 with seventeen Hall of Fame. The players, team owners, managers and coaches League can be inducted into the Hall of Fame. The main criterion is that it must have made an outstanding contribution sport. In late 2009, more than 250 people were induced.

There is no strict rule in place that states that a candidate who is a player or coach who has been out of play for a period minimum of five years. This Regulation is not used when a team owner or other party arises. There you can add a fan to name a contact person with the Hall of Fame Committee by email or letter. There is a process of voting through the years which reduces the potential candidates to fifteen people. The final list was established through a mail ballot of the members of the committee.
The committee meets the day before the Super Bowl to decide the choice of the class this year. At present, four to seven new inductees are honored each year. The ceremony took place in early August. To mark the occasion there is a festival a week long in the municipality. The day after the ceremony begins with a preseason NFL game in honor of the winners.
