Holidays in San Diego. So many choices, so little time!
If you are planning a trip to San Diego is good news and bad news. In fact, the bad news good news. The fact is that there are so many things to do in San Diego that you are sure to have a good time regardless of their favorite activities. This is good news; done. The bad news is that you can literally spend weeks visiting all the useful sites, theme parks, museums, beaches, etc. How should all in a week or a few days? The difficulty of knowing what to do in a limited schedule is bad news.
In an attempt to provide some local knowledge, we can divide a large number of major destinations of San Diego by the time it takes to be satisfied with their visit. With few exceptions, most of these points are not are far from downtown.
What activities would require at least an entire day and maybe more? The first thing that comes to mind is the Sea World. Unless there has been recent days, you need a full day block enough for marine theme park large. If your group includes fans shows ocean bitter life of dolphins and the environment from Sea World, you can spend at least part of the second day. But if you're short of time after one day.
Another day trip would Legoland, in northern San Diego County. The trip is 45 minutes one way only if traffic is reasonable. Of course, you can easily spend a few days wandering in the historic Gaslamp Quarter, near the city center or historic center of San Diego Zoo (you can spend an entire day this world-class zoo.)
We have almost completed a full week and did not talk about golf, beaches, Coronado Island and the famous Hotel del Coronado or near Tijuana, Mexico. And have not addressed the recreational fishery in the historic Julian hills east of the city or drive 59-miles across the county. Most of the above activities may be taken within a half day stay in San Diego. So you can schedule two or three short activities in one day. If you receive more details and assign both the activities of a few dozen more convincing, you find that you need a month to feel you've come all the most important possibilities. Since the tourist typically do not have much time, consider the many options and the list of things that are more unique, or if you feel cheated if you miss, or that involve the largest number of people in your family. It is good to have so many choices, but it means you should plan to spend some time on vacation to San Diego in advance.
