Souvenirs From Germany

In 2010, how much money should I bring to Germany for a vacation of two weeks.?
My husband and I plan to go vacation in Canada in Hamburg and will remain with our German friends that are local. How much money do we carry with us for some memories and also be able to bring our Guests of some food? Tourism? etc.
First, it is not necessary to take all species. Your credit card is accepted in most places (but try not to use it for small purchases that your bank will charge for each transaction, usually a weaker exchange rate, but it is worth to large purchases-40 or € 50 +). You can expect to pay between 30-50 euros per person for a meal, according to the type of restaurant and what kind of drink that you have (Water or wine?). Hamburg is a city is not cheap, and if you go up the good fish restaurants along the river, you can expect to pay 300 euros for 4 of you inclduing wine, but is a great meal. (Some of the best fishing spots are present). In general, to pay nearly double what they would pay in Canada / United States grocery, so it may be more useful. Gasoline is approximately three times more in Europe, so keep that in mind if you drive your guests around. Most places not charge a lot to enter, are the "extras" as well as a beer here or there or a cup of coffee and cakes, etc. The Euro is very strong, so will things seem more expensive. Sad to think bascially what you pay for something Canada and double or triple that! Still, Hamburg is a nice city, with many sites to make without having to pay to enter or watch. Do Bring your walking shoes! However, supplies of all kinds of "Birkenstock" type of shoes or maybe you is there (yes, it is much cheaper.) The German leader, in my opinion, the shoes!
