Elite XC on CBS = why arent combat sports on TV?
Go all the fight was stopped prematurely because it was in television. Especially the fight Gina. Lil KT was a mouse under his eye and vowed that it was closed. I like the way the average American is to accept MMA as a sport (I'm a amateur boxer, will be favorable in 4 years and would like to see Boxing at CBS, but anyway), but can not work. Case ruin the night for me. What do you think of Elite XC on CBS and MMA Last Nite is a setting for television?
I saw a bit of EliteXC, if I'm not a big fan of MMA for seemed to me that the clashes were arrested, not necessarily because constraits time (but may well have been part of the equation), but keep the blood at a minimum. Each time one of Figthers began to show some damage to the face and taking some good shots, advertisers seemed to shout that he could not get a minute. Even an amateur MMA and boxing amateur like me knows that is not the case and most of the time, except if you really cut near the eye of the evil that is superficial and irrelevant, and many many fighters sometimes take much more damage than they did in this program and can not return. Seemed to follow this policy in any direct combat, but at the last Kimbo stretch took about a million shot at the undisputed head when I was on the ground and not fighting. Then when he got up and had his hand picked opponent this situation, it was decided in his favor. You can not kill the cash cow in the first big fight you know. The whole thing really left a bad taste in my mouth and I certainly EliteXC does not see again. I'm sure some are EliteXC fun, but what you get is never going to be what most fans are common experienced. Personally, I think combat sports network working in television, but I suppose if a promotion can make it work, it would be best in the city and is without doubt the UFC.
