University of Connecticut coach to leave men's basketball team took immediate head of absence. Coach Jim Calhoun will take sick leave of absence after his doctor asked him after a control routine. Over the years, Calhoun rejected the prostate and skin cancer three times and immediately returned to coach the Huskies once he was in better condition. The reasons are unknown, but the university said that it is not related to their previous conditions. Cleveland Cavaliers Shaquille O'Neal became the fifth person in NBA history to score 28,000 career points Friday night victory over the Toronto Raptors. After the game O'Neal has said raise money for Haiti victims of the biggest names in football to join the dunk contest to raise funds.
