Pro Hockey Develop

Can you please translate………?????
I was reading about the Lightning starting goaltender for tonight on TSN, and they have some silly hockey gibberish, that this Florida girl can’t seem to comprehend.
His pro’s as a goaltender, I understand. The con’s, I do not grasp. This is what it says for his cons:
Needs to adjust to the North American game, as well as develop a book on shooters’ tendencies on this side of the pond, in order to stick.
Obviously I understand the “Need to adjust to the North American League”. What does, “as well as develop a book on shooters’ tendencies on this side of the pond, in order to stick.”
Does it mean that he needs to take notes on how players usually shoot, so that he can anticipate their next move?
What does, “as well as develop a book on shooters’ tendencies on this side of the pond, in order to stick.” mean?
Sorry for the typo, please don’t beat me. ![]()
Andrew: Thanks for making me choke on my potato chip.
What is worse, is choking on a chicken bag.
While making his way to North America, the young lad encoutered many new and exciting events. However, he made the mistake of wandering through the woods in Pennsylvania during “deer season.” After a few close calls he found a pond and figured he would be safe in the water. So he became bionic and studied some of the hunter’s tendencies on the other side of the pond. Since he didn’t want anyone else to go through the same experience that he had, he decided it would be a great idea to write a book about those tendencies and his experience. Based on the TSN report, his book has either not been picked up to be published, or just hasn’t been released yet.
I really couldn’t add anything to the above answers so I decided to be a wise guy.
Add: In order to stick means if he wants to be a number 1 at the NHL level. Basically he needs to experience the tendancies of the shooters over here.
Add: No prob Haley, it is better than Choking on Chicken right? Who am I kidding. (Yahoo police forgive me)
