Should I leave my 13 year old daughter be a cheerleader?
I've never been a cheerleader, and my friends. I do not know much about cheerleading reality. My 13 year old daughter wants to become one and trying to keep an open mind while I decide. They have a bad movie good enough. Half Show Girls' TV M-16 and the speakers were "good girl" cheerleaders. What about the parties, football players, drugs, alcohol associated with sport? His girls cheerleaders? What are the advantages and disadvantages of joy? Is there something you should know before going to matter? Please share your experiences. That's what I thought also … "Pros" good grades, attend school, exc. Thanks for pointing out the good things too. Someone mentioned the cost? Is it expensive? How time will be? Do I have to travel? Please put me know.
Of course, you should leave. I am a cheerleader and I can tell – these idiots on MTV are not the majority. Cheerleaders are stereotyped a lot, and like any stereotype, this is rarely true. Every single girl on my team was above 3.5 and who are not even a school team (Degrees senses should not be included). Many of us (myself included) have a 4.0. None of us never drink, take drugs or go to wild parties. It is just a stereotype. Advantages: "It's fun, keeps you physically fit, make friends and his team became the second in a family, very favorable" He is someone (Coach), if you find you can not talk to their parents for some reason, you learn teamwork, leadership, sportsmanship and dedication (everybody say that, but it's true): whether it is good that they can get scholarships.
