Pro Baseball Managers

What is the best way to get a job in the professional sports franchise front office?
I want to work in the office of a Professional sports franchise, preferably football, basketball or baseball. My goal would be a general manager one day. Here in San Diego, we the Chargers (NFL) and chaplains (MLB). What should I take college classes if I have this goal to become a GM? I have done some research on participation GM and other major sport does not support real took in college. Some took to journalism, some have law degrees, some of the best baseball player in college as Kevin Towers (Padres). It is therefore difficult to evaluate what I do. What do you think of my goal and what should I do?
I think most of them knew people in the organization.
