What are the types of potential problems in a black woman mentoring black boys?
To start a program at my old high school, which means that children learn to build a website compatible with open databases. Now the group want is the target of varsity football due to: 1) I love the game of the NFL, 2) I did not begin to design the "technology" of the program because I and the documents of a class I did in college on the basis of statistical work in football, and 3) work with the football team provide a diverse group of scholars children. I need some information on the types of potential problems I have to do my proposal to the school.
Here are my thoughts. 1.) Not think the color of your skin will be the impact on all – Unless a lot of prejudice in your area. 2.) A woman who works with all male students could be problematic – especially the issues of control. Some teenage boys are not taking a positive view of cheerleaders women, especially those who control and authoritarian. 3.) Work with adolescents also is another matter. – Can be difficult to handle, raw, and out of control. But No. 2 and 3, using classroom management, obsticals both can be overcome, including before you begin.
