When the NFL is going to change its method of overtime?
Of all the major sports, the NFL has easily the worst method for deciding match zero when it is possible for a single team for a chance to score and end the game without the other team a chance. In baseball, you do not ask the home team to keep the visiting team scoring so you can have a chance to bat. But exactly Do you ask the team that lost the draw in extra time to do if they want an opportunity score. In the end, if the sudden death of NFL OT is so beautiful, then how come we never see the team winning the toss elected to start? For a league that prides itself on providing each team the same chance of winning (project planning, salary caps) of the NFL should be ashamed to have sudden death the Old Testament as a means of deciding ties. NOTE: I'm not a fan of the Vikings and I was in favor of the saints today. It's just that I have long felt the sudden death OT is a very poor way to decide games
Even the Packers / card playoff game this year I agree with you 100%. The truth is that in football, defense (unlike in baseball) can also score points in length. Despite having the college football is way OT.
