I never could understand why is the NFL preseason is too long. I understand the need for teams to get a real experience of playing time and coaches to evaluate the new parts and running staff, but 4 games is too long. After all is not as old as the players do not spend most of the year, development and practice. support teams price of these exhibition games and sales to assign seats, so I guess that's why he does not want to get rid of Game 4. I do not remember what the case is still years before the Giants last season, however, if like me just that when you listen to the radio or reading the morning sports the player low popularity.
I agree that the NFL preseason is a couple of games too long and the risk of injury to an athlete is too high. However, you would be surprised that preseason games are not as profitable for most NFL franchises. You figure that the team sells an average of only 50% of their seats for a preseason game, but still are should have the same number of staff on site to be a regular game. End result is that there is more money in the door used in the hands of the owner. It is a good way to train new staff and get all the kinks worked before the season and repeated as the stage most of the annual personnel changes that most jobs are seasonal.
