Kansas City Chiefs 2010 forecasts

There is no doubt that Kansas City between 2010 season with his best option to return to the game in the AFC West. The Heads finished in last place in the West for the second straight season, becoming only 4.12 2009, but made some great additions to coaching staff this season. The Heads Charlie Weis brought to execute the offense and Romeo Crennel to take over the defense, the first two are the coordinators of the New England Patriots and is having an impact huge in the team this season. Here's a look that Kansas City will look like in 2010, more than my prediction of where they finish the season in the AFC West.

Attack: With the addition of running back Thomas Jones this offseason, the leaders will strengthen one of the best ground attacks in the NFL this season Jones will join forces with the new young stars Jamaal Charles. Charles ran for 1,120 yards and seven touchdowns after taking over from Larry Johnson last season, while Jones led the New York Jets, with 1402 yards and 14 touchdowns.

How good are the leaders this season will depend largely the play of quarterback Matt Cassel, who had his ups and downs in his first season with the Chiefs in 2009. Cassel threw for 2924 yards and only 16 touchdowns and 16 interceptions but has been knocked down many last year.

The number of leaders have their own body to receive the best in years with the return of Chris Chambers, who really emerged after his arrival to the leaders at the end of last season, and Dwayne Bowe is actually to bounce after a difficult season 2009. The Chiefs also added rookie Dexter McCluster in the second round of the project and is expressed in law and slot receiver. McCluster noise can not be the first year just doing this season as Chiefs tight end Tony Moeaki think a big blow that much of the offense 2010.

The offensive line has continued to improve to As the 2009 season has continued, and should be even better in 2010, with additions veteran center Casey Wiegmann and guard Ryan Lilja. Wiegmann push for the starting job in the center, whereas it should start in place Lilja reserves the right to the Pro Bowl left guard Brian Waters. Brandon Albert has become a solid left, but still can improve, and Ryan O'Callaghan is a nice finding the proper treatment for the Chiefs in 2009.

Defense: For this team to be better in 2010, defensive end Glenn Dorsey and Tyson Jackson has to live up to their potential and be more of a force to the front. Dorsey improvement was seen improvements in its second season, and could be ready to put a great season for the Chiefs. The leaders seem content rotation Veteran Ron Edwards and newcomer Shaun Smith at nose ahead.

Heads do not upgrade to linebacker in the offseason, then they will continue what we have achieved. Tamba Hali is a very smooth transition from defensive end outside linebacker, and senior leaders spend Rusher. Veteran Mike Vrabel will probably start the other place outside. Derrick Johnson I hope to be back in the lineup title this season, leaving Demorrio Williams and Corey Mays in the battle to implement further.

The leaders decided to jump in and take offensive tackle Eric Safety Berry the No. 5 selection in the draft, and I think it was the right decision. An elite security as Berry did not come by often so you can find a solid front, almost every year in the project. But who will start against Berry is in the air, like Jon McGraw Jarrad Page, Dajuan Morgan Donald Washington, and rookie Lewis Kendrick all have a shot. The Chiefs have two of the best young corners in the NFL Brandon Flowers and Brandon Carr and added another young and promising rookie Javier Arenas, who seems to have a great shot to play in the nickel package.

Prediction – 2nd West Many people believe that the leaders of the AFC is still a year before competing for the division title, but I must see this huge transition team in 2010. I think there many similarities to the 2008 Miami Dolphins was 1-15 11-5 and won the AFC East. Not surprised if the Chiefs shocked the Chargers on Monday Night Football start the season.
